The Yarra Glen Arts Show is a biennial show that delivers quality artworks and artisan wares across its exhibits. Artworks include painting, photography, sculpture, textiles and metal works, capturing styles from realist to impressionist and contemporary abstract to traditional landscape.

Arts Show Coordinator


Are you passionate about Yarra Glen? Do you have an appreciation for great art?

Do you love planning and organising? Are you someone with an eye for detail?

If you answered yes to these questions then you may be the person that the Yarra Glen Arts Show committee is looking for and we would love to hear from you.

The Yarra Glen Arts Show has been running since 2002. Now a biennial event held in the Yarra Valley, the show has a successful track record in delivering quality artworks and artisan wares across its exhibits with over 3,000 visitors attending the event.


A rare opportunity has come available for an enthusiastic Art Show Coordinator.

The role of the Coordinator is a casual position and would be from approximately June 2018 to April 2019 with responsibilities increasing progressively as the start date of the show approaches. Supported by a strong and enthusiastic committee, the primary responsibilities of the Arts Show Coordinator are to:

              Plan, organise and implement the art show

  • Manage registrations
  • Develop reports
  • Maintain website information to ensure currency
  • Liaise with artists
  • Source and secure sponsorship opportunities
  • Write applications for grants
  • Maintain data bases
  • Coordinate marketing requirements
  • Coordinate volunteers

Attention to detail and managing your own time is crucial for the role. You will also be a good team player. Ideally you will have event management experience, be able to juggle multiple tasks and have strong communication skills.

The Yarra Glen Arts Show Coordinator is a wonderful opportunity to play a key role in creating an exciting and memorable experience for all involved.
